Gary has served as our Senior Vice President, Operations since October 2018. Prior to his current role, Gary served in a similar capacity at Sidewinder Drilling Company. Gary joined Sidewinder in 2013 where he led their entire drilling operation. Prior to joining Sidewinder, Gary was a Senior Vice President of Bronco Drilling Company. In 2011 Bronco was acquired by NOMAC Drilling, a subsidiary of Chesapeake Energy Corporation, and he served as Director of New Rig Technology for NOMAC Drilling. Prior to Bronco, Gary worked for Robert Drilling Company for 23 years in positions of increasing operations management responsibilities. Prior to Robert, he worked for nine years at Ratliff Drilling Company beginning as a roughneck and working his way to rig management.

Robert has served as our Rig Operations Manager, Drilling Supervisor since December 2020. Robert joined the company in January 2014 as Manager, Sales and Business Development where he was responsible for the contracting and marketing of the company’s growing fleet of newbuild drilling rigs across Texas and its contiguous states. Robert was promoted to Director, Sales and Marketing in 2019. Prior to joining OD, Robert worked for Strata Control Services and Turbo Chem International, which are specialty chemical companies who provide wellbore stability products across all major US and international oil & gas plays. During his time there he held various roles with increasing responsibility in both land and offshore applications as well as sales management. Robert is a member of the International Association of Drilling Contractors.
